WHY SHOULD I SEE A COSMETIC DENTIST?

It is highly unlikely that your dental insurance company will agree to cover your cosmetic treatment. These are often not considered a “necessity,” which is why you will need to look at other options when it comes to paying for your new smile. However, if your dentist believes you would benefit from a form of restorative dentistry in addition to cosmetic services (i.e. dental crown), your insurance company might make an exception and agree to pay a portion of the cost.
