Humana offers a number of different plans, so the details of your coverage will depend on which plan you select.

 With the Preventive Value PPO plan, you can enjoy preventive care for nothing out of pocket after you pay your deductible. You’ll only half to pay for half the cost of basic services, such as fillings. More complex procedures are not covered.
 The Dental Preventive Plus PPO plan has slightly more robust coverage. In addition to providing coverage for preventive care and basic services, it may also furnish you with a discount on major services, such as root canal therapy and even orthodontics.
 The Dental Loyalty Plus PPO plan provides you with better and better coverage for each of the first three years you have it.
 The Complete Dental PPO plan covers preventive care at 100%, basic services at 80%, and major services at 50%.
In addition to having a deductible, most of the abovementioned plans also have an annual maximum, which is the most that Humana will pay out for services within a calendar year. If you visit an in-network dentist, such as Breckenridge Dental and Orthodontics in Richardson, you will be in a position to get as much as possible out of that annual limit. Because our team is used to working with Humana, we can even suggest strategies to help you truly maximize your benefits. For example, we may schedule treatments in a way that allows you to take advantage of two annual maximums rather than just one if you need a major procedure.
