Dental insurance is designed to prevent problems before they start. This is why you will find that most policies cover anywhere from 80-100% of preventive services. These often include regular dental checkups and cleanings, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and dental sealants.

Should problems arise that require restorative or emergency treatment, you might find that your plan will cover anywhere from 70-80% for minor services (i.e. dental fillings, root canals, tooth extractions) and 50-70% for major services (i.e. dental crowns, dentures).

As long as you continue to pay your monthly premium, you will have continued access to your benefits. Once you meet your deductible, the majority of your bill rests on your insurance company, which is why if you are recommended for a root canal or dental crown, it is best to do it once you’ve met your deductible.

But should you face going over your annual maximum, our team will work to spread out your treatments over multiple calendar years so that your out of pocket expenses remain low.

These are just some of the many perks of seeing an in-network provider. However, should you decide to see us, and we are not in-network with your dental insurance, don’t worry. You will still receive excellent dental care while our team will work to find ways to save you money.
